GOA CM MR.PROPERTY SAWANT: FROM RAGS TO RICHES

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant better known as Mr. Property Sawant within his own BJP cadres alike Manohar Parrikar is promising anything and everything to hold on to that Chief Minister’s Chair.

Pramod Sawant’s Independence Day assurance of a corruption free administration is laughable. He must have meant Zero action against corruption.

Having quickly risen from rags to riches by himself immersed in rampant corruption, the Chief Minister lacks moral authority to rein in his corruption embroiled Ministers.

In his nomination papers at the 2012 Assembly elections Pramod Sawant had stated that his total income for 2010-2011 was only Rs 4,51,653 and his savings including Fixed Deposits was a mere Rs 55, 139.   So will Pramod Sawant please let us know has he become a multi crorepati so quickly?

As Chairman of that biggest den of corruption the Goa State Infrastructure Development Corporation (GSIDC) Pramod Sawant has had a hell of a ball. It was an enormous window to enrich himself. And now as Chief Minister, sky is the limit.

Pramod Sawant  has bought huge properties all over in the name of a partnership firm M/s Jay Ganesh Developers and Associates craftily set up by him in 2014 as a front with  Ranjit Rohidas Mangaonkar, Rupesh Narayan Thanekar and Rajesh Manohar Shirodkar as the other three partners.

Amongst the properties purchased by Pramod Sawant’s partnership firm is land admeasuring 16,480 sq mts in Bordem at Bicholim for Rs 1,31,84,000 ( one crore thirty one lakhs  and eighty four thousand ) and another 19,989 sq mts also at Bordem for an amount of Rs 1,23,34,000 (one crore twenty three lakhs and thirty four thousand). 24 Sale deeds were executed within a span of two years by Pramod Sawant’s partnership firm at the office of the Sub- Registrar in Bicholim itself.

Mr. Property Sawant has properties all over Goa and has now even extended his crave for real estate into neighboring Karnataka and Maharashtra. God Save Goa
